Tsaghkadzor is surrounded by Tsaghkunyats Mountains, this is exactly where its name comes from: it means ”valley of flowers”. The town is located in the Kotayk Marz of Armenia, 50 km from the capital Yerevan. Tsaghkadzor is 1841 meters above sea level.
