How to get to Yerevan Zoo of Armenia?

The Yerevan Zoo is open from 10:00 to 19:00 on Monday, 9:00-22:00 on Tuesday and 11:00-19:00 on Wednesday to Sunday.

A new special zoo bus regularly operates from the zoo bus station located in Isahakyan street, near the metro station Yeritasardakan.
The bus ticket also includes the entrance fee to the zoo. So, buying it, you will be able not only to avoid searching for parking space but also passing some long queues both to buy entrance tickets and enter the zoo.
What animal species you can find in this Armenian zoo?
At present, the Zoo is home to about 204 species, 2749 individuals of birds, mammals and reptiles.

Also, there are species that represent Armenia and the South Caucasus region, for example, Bezoar goats, Armenian mouflon, brown bears, vipers, black vultures. But there are also species represented at the zoo from all over the world including lions, tigers, hyenas, and Asian elephant.

1. EDUCATION AT THE ZOO SCHOOL
There is a zoo school operating since 2012.

5. COLORS CELEBRATION
This one is among the most colorful events periodically organized at the Yerevan Zoo Armenia.
It’s Pan-Armenian Painting Day – part of a larger Pan-Armenian Painting Contest where not only children from all over Armenia take part, but also the ones living abroad do too.
